Nya singeln “Get Along” med Kenny Chesney ute nu!

Kenny Chesneys akustiska signatur i form av banjons toner gör det omöjligt att inte ryckas med i den nya singeln “Get Along”. När Eastern Tennessee-stjärnan arbetade med det som kommer att bli hans mest personliga album hittills befann Chesney sig i ett tillstånd där han fann sig reflekterande över livet och världen idag. Den var genom den nästintill själsliga resan som nya singeln ”Get Along”växte fram.

“Some days, it’s like the world is just angry, screaming people,”Chesney reflekterar; “all harping on what’s wrong, how other people are awful. The more I move around talking to people and through people, the more I know people are good, working hard to get by and wanting the best for their family and friends. It’s simple, but we keep getting driven apart – and made unhappy. “When I heard this song, beyond how good the rhythm felt, I was amazed how simply they broke all this stuff down. Get along… find the common ground… know the basic stuff is where the joy, the love, the happiness is.”

Låtskrivarna bakom den nya singeln är Shane McAnally, Ross Copperman och Josh Osborne. När Chesney först hörde låten blev han fascinerad över hur de lyckats komponera fram glädjen, kärleken och lyckan i refrängen.“Get Along” har glädjen från “American Kids”, positiviteten från “Save It For A Raindy Day” och musikaliteten från “Everybody Wants To Go To Heaven”.

“To me, music is what you make it, and I want music that sounds good, but also gives you permission to really live,”Förklarar Chesney.“I think we can get so caught up in expectations, our own and other people’s, and we forget what matters.”
