Denmark's national football team will, in the coming months, be part of a large-scale sales promotion for MD's aprox. DKK 1billion milk powder business in Central America.
The team, which went on a tour of Latin America in January, will play an important role in the promotion of MD Foods' two milk power brands, Milex and Dano. During the team's recent tour, the players were photographed in Milex or Dano shirts and the photographs will be used for a major launch of Milex in Honduras, Guatamala and El Salvador.
"In view of the enormous enthusiasm for football in South and Central America, the Danish team provides us with a perfect opportunity for profiling MD and MD's products. In the minds of the populations, Denmark stands for entertaining football and the World Cup Quarter Final against Brazil gave the Danish team a significant boost. Denmark's victory in Euro '92 hasn't been forgotten either," says Export Manager Michael Normann Christiansen, MD Foods Ingredients.
