Lurpak Spreadable: brand of the year

Lurpak Spreadable received one of the UK marketing sector's most coveted awards when the UK's marketing association on June 6, the day MD Foods' changed name to Arla Foods, chose Lurpak Spreadable as the most successful brand of the past year.

The award was given in recognition both of the successful launch of a new spreadable category in the UK market for butter and fats and the speed with which Spreadable has become the best selling spread in the UK

"This is good news for Arla Foods and a just reward for the team behind Lurpak both in Denmark and the UK," said Business Unit Controller, Simon Eyles, Division UK.
