New joint Nordic marketing organisation

Fermented products, speciality cheese, and cooking are the three new product areas in the newly formed marketing organisation for the Denmark and Sweden Divisions.

The formation of the Nordic marketing organisation is a result of Arla Foods’ recent reorganisation which is aimed at strengthening the Nordic area, one of Arla Foods’ four business areas.

Each of the Nordic countries, however, will retain a separate marketing department. The changes will take effect from October 1.

The three joint Nordic product areas were established following extensive analysis of the markets. Within the yellow cheese area, consumption and product types differ to an extent where a joint Nordic marketing organisation was not seen as necessary. An analysis of the butter market is yet to be completed.
