Princess opens dairy

On Friday, September 1, Princess Alexandra of Denmark opened Arla Foods’ new cheese dairy in Taulov, Denmark .



The red carpet was ready for Princess Alexandra of Denmark when she opened Arla Foods’ new cheese dairy, Taulov Mejeri, on Friday. “An impressive place,” commented Princess Alexandra when she arrived at Taulov Mejeri to preside over the inauguration of this new, important addition to Arla Foods’ production facilities.
She was received by Arla Foods’ Chairman Lars Lamberg, Deputy Chairman Knud Erik Jensen, Managing Director Jens Bigum and the diary’s Manager Lars Dalsgaard.
300 guests waited for the Guest of Honour in a large marquee in front of the dairy, where, by pressing a button on a computer, Princess Alexandra started the production lines for the very first time.
“It’s a great honour for me to open Taulov Mejeri. I wish the dairy and all its staff the very best for the future,” the Princess declared.
