Shredded cheese goes down well in Germany

Press Release   •  Jan 19, 2001 15:43 CET

“It’s all there – including the enjoyment”. These are the words which will be emblazoned on the impulse fridges which German consumers will find in their supermarkets until late March. The impulse fridges are part of the launch campaign for Arla Foods’ two new shredded cheese products in the German market. Until now, the names of Arla Foods’ shredded cheese have reflected their use, e.g. pizza, pasta and gratin. The names of two new products, however, match their flavour – Kräuterkäse (herbs) and Knoblauchkäse (garlic).

The new types of shredded cheese come with recipes printed on loose cards which can be used as dinner invitations.
“Arla Kräuterkäse and Knoblauchkäse have been available in German stores since November and sales are going well,” says Junior Product Manager Ana Skaramuca, Arla Foods Germany.
Made at Rødkærsbro Dairy, Arla Kräuterkäse and Knoblauchkäse are currently only available in Germany.
