​BLAST Pro Series Madrid: Full schedule with two days of live world-class esports revealed

Madrid Arena is going to be absolutely packed with energy when local qualifier teams take the stage for the first time in BLAST history.

The full schedule for BLAST Pro Series Madrid 2019 is ready.

For the first time, a team will qualify via a local play-in where 2 Spanish teams will face off in Madrid Arena for the 6th and final spot in the main tournament.

Both the qualifier and the first two group stage rounds will be played in front of a live arena audience, giving the fans an opportunity to watch all matches live!

New qualification format - fans get access to all matches live 

For the first time in BLAST Pro Series history, a team will qualify for the main tournament. In a collaboration with LVP and Komodo, the teams have been found. Movistar Riders placed 1st in the first split of the regular competition, putting them directly in the Play-In Final of BLAST Pro Series Madrid 19. Vodafone Giants fought their way through to the other spot in the qualifier final.

In Madrid Arena on May 10, the two local teams will play each other in a best of three match in front of a live audience. The winning team will play in the main tournament against Astralis, ENCE, NiP, Cloud9, and NAVI. This brings in an entirely new excitement factor for the audience, who are guaranteed to see a local team play in the tournament. 

The two local Spanish teams, Movistar Riders and Vodafone Giants, will be playing in front of their home crowd in Madrid, and one of them will go on to play the best teams in the world. Picture from BLAST Pro Series, São Paulo.

Together with FaZe Clan, MIBR and Team Liquid, Astralis, Cloud9, NAVI, and NiP are all a part of the Global BLAST tournament, and the 4 teams playing in Madrid will all have the opportunity to rise the ranks on the Season Leaderboard which will culminate in a Global Final at the end of the year.
