In less than 8 hours all 6,000 tickets for BLAST Pro Series São Paulo were sold out. Monday 600 extra tickets were released and again everything was sold out in only hours. The interest for BLAST in Brazil is overwhelming and more than 7,500 are still on the waiting list for the 2019 kick off of the global tournament series. Førstedagen ved årets sidste Counter-Strike turnering gik ikke helt som ventet. Efter Cloud9 i januar vandt Majoren har holdet haft et hårdt år. Det kan dog være, det amerikansk baserede hold alligevel får en tidlig julegave med hjem fra Lissabon. Efter sejre over MIBR og FaZe Clan ligger Cloud9 sammen med Astralis på en delt førsteplads med 4 point. Alt er åbent inden finaledagen lørdag.
