A year ago, the methanol fuel cell manufacturer Blue World Technologies saw the light of day – now, many goals have been accomplished and the company is continuing the path towards supplying a real green alternative to the combustion engine. Before production of the methanol fuel cells has begun, Blue World Technologies has received committed orders worth a significant double-digit million euro.

Yesterday, 17 September 2019, the ground was broken for the construction of the world’s largest methanol fuel cell factory. The factory covers 5,285 m2 and will have a yearly production capacity of 750 MW. The groundbreaking is an important milestone in realising the vision of Blue World Technologies: to be the leading supplier of methanol fuel cells and eventually to retire the combustion engine.

To strengthen their market position, Blue World Technologies has acquired 15 per cent of Danish Power Systems, a highly recognised developer and manufacturer of MEA-technology. The MEA is one of the core components in the fuel cell stack, and with a focus on high-efficiency Blue World Technologies is going to utilise the proven technology of Danish Power Systems for their methanol fuel cells.

Blue World Technologies har underskrevet en strategisk samarbejdsaftale med den hurtig-voksende producent af intelligente elbiler AIWAYS, med det formål at forsyne markedet med køretøjer drevet af methanol-brændselsceller, der både sikrer hurtig optankning og lang rækkevidde.

I går, den 17. september 2019, blev første spadestik taget til opførelsen af verdens største methanol-brændselscellefabrik på Aalborg Havn. Fabrikken på 5.285 m2 vil have en årlig produktionskapacitet på 750 MW, svarende til 50.000 brændselscelleenheder.

2019年9月17日,全球最大甲醇重整燃料电池生产基地在丹麦奥尔堡港破土动工。该生产基地面积将达5,285 m2,年产量预计750兆瓦,相当于50,000组燃料电池产量。蓝界科技(Blue World Technologies)的愿景是成为世界领先的甲醇重整燃料电池供应商,以甲醇重整燃料电池取代内燃机;而生产基地的奠基是实现这一愿景的重要里程碑。
