Martial arts equipment: Necessary for wining the fights

Martial arts equipment is a generic term which consists of various training tools used by the martial arts practitioners. Some of the tools are used in number of martial arts activities, while others are quite specific to a particular style. These equipments have a dual benefit for martial artist i.e. they can protect them from accidental damages, if any and it can also boost training for making it more efficient fighter. Importantly, the trainees and artists who have to buy any safety equipment must get it from good reputation manufacturers. In the market, three names are well-known for equipments i.e. Macho, Tiger Claw or Century.

There are various types of martial arts equipments that are must for any “average" workout practitioner regardless of style. The punch bag is a basic requirement in any dojo or training hall. These bags provide a definitive target to direct your blows and enhance the potential to develop solid stamina and cardiovascular conditioning. There are different punching bags available which include:

Standard Boxing Size: These traditional boxing bags copy the size and shape of the torso. They are intended for punching but mid-line and high line kicks can effectively be trained on these bags.

Banana Bags: These are comparatively thinner punching bags. The length is similar to the human body. The lower region of bag is bets for effective training of leg kicks, knees, and other strikes.

Light Bags: As the name specifies, light punching bags are low in weight approximately 1/3rd the size and weight of a punching bag. It is designed mainly to give resistance to jabbing style punches, hook and uppercut line blows.

The martial arts punching bags can be hanging which can be either affixed to various "hooks" in the ceiling or freestanding. In comparison, freestanding bags are more durable base mounts than former.

There are a lots of personal safety equipments available for martial art trainees or students like leg pads, elbow pads, chest protector, foot pads, sparring mitts, mouthpieces, head gear, face cages, shin guards, cups and supporters are a few to name. Apart from this, one can choose other accessories such as hand targets, weighted clothing, exercise mats, or punch bags.
