Zmarta expands insurance offer

Press release   •   Mar 03, 2016 14:57 CET

Zmarta expands their insurance offer with the launch of a new home insurance comparison and brokering service. The launch takes Zmarta one step closer to becoming the “go to” tool in personal finance for consumers.

Zmarta – a marketplace offering comparisons and brokering of loans, insurance, savings and credit cards – is already offering a car insurance comparison. Today Zmarta expand their services to include home insurance, a product that most people are dependent on but which can be difficult for consumers to compare based on other factors than price. The comparison service from Zmarta include a range of factors which makes it stand out in the industry.

”When analyzing the market we saw that many actors make insurance into something unnecessarily complex, also the market is very price oriented. With our comparison we clearly show the differences with regards to the scope of the insurance as well as the price”, says Björn Lander, CEO, Zmarta Group.

The comparison service is based on Zmarta’s rating functionality, “ZmartaBetyg”. The rating – which in addition to price also assess aspects such as the scope of the insurance and the insurance excess – makes it easy to compare insurance offers and help users to sign an insurance with the right cover for the right price.

”Insurance is a major expense for many people, with this launch Zmarta takes another step on the path to becoming a broad personal finance service for everyone. Along with our services within loans, credit cards and savings we can offer smart personal finance solutions for even more people”, says Björn Lander.
