The surface is rough, reminding the customer of paper. With “Papertouch flexible“,Wipak has launched a special type of film offering new ways of differentiation in POS marketing.
“Papertouch flexible“ is a thermoforming composite consisting of polyamide and polyethylene that is available in different versions. To create the paper-like haptic, Wipak uses special granulates for the outer layer. The optical appearance can also be adapted to individual marketing requirements. For Feta cheese e.g., a non-transparent white layer can be used while for fried sausage, a transparent version is more suitable. As this film can be delivered with or without barrier layer, it is suitable for packaging different types of food pro-ducts.
