aeris numo is winner of the FX International Interior Design Award 2019
(3rd December 2019, Munich-Haar) The latest active seat by aeris, the numo object chair, has been awarded the prestigious FX International Interior Design Award 2019 in the category Public, Leisure, Office Furniture. The prize was awarded at a black-tie ceremony on the 27th November 2019 at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London. numo convinced the international 22-member jury, which gathers leading figures from all disciplines of design, with its innovative kinematic system for a dynamic seating and its wide range of uses.
aeris numo – always in motion
The aeris numo object chair combines timeless design with a novel, unusual movement mechanism. Thanks to this, the design chair follows the natural movements forwards and backwards of the persons sitting on it and thus ensures good rhythmic movement. On the numo you don't just sit comfortably, you also sit in motion, in the office, in meetings, conferences, and at home at the dining table.
The sled frame version is also suitable for outdoor use. Moreover, the five colour and three frame variants allow individual design options. A surprisingly versatile and moving design chair that is simply fun.
Guide to the design landscape
The FX Awards is one of the largest international design competitions. The competition presents unique design trends in 23 categories. The judges are independent experts who are recruited to form a fresh new panel each year, and comprise engineers, clients, architects and designers from many different sectors.
