In our financial analysis we are introducing Klondex Mines, a company which operates two mines in Nevada (USA). The author Carsten Ringler describes their projects and provides various financial calculations. Consequently, the author Carsten Ringler quotes: "Due to the very high ore grades of both mines, the production cash costs are significantly lower than 900 USD per ounce. Klondex is therefore one of the gold producers that are profitable at current gold prices."

About the company:

Klondex Mines is a highly profitable gold producer in the safe region Nevada (USA).

The name of the main project is "Fire Creek" and is located in north-central Nevada, 100% controlled by Klondex. It is located in the cross-section of Northern Nevada Rift and the Battle Mountain trend. Beside "Fire Creek" also the "Midas Mine" belongs to Klondex, both high grade epithermal gold deposits. Due to the very high grades of processed ore per ton ("Head Grades") the cash costs were very low in 2014 at 617 USD per ounce GoldEq. The management expects to produce in 2015 between 125,000 to 130,000 ounces GoldEq at All-in sustaining cash cost (AISC) between 750 and 800 USD per ounce GoldEq.

Klondex Mines is listed on the Canadian Stock Exchange and the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.
