Repak - Reclosing for mono materials

Wipak has upgraded its Repak system. The polyester based lidding films have been optimized for reclosing using mono materials. This is a new type of material with a brilliant optic.

The lidding films provide an absolutely tight seal on pure APET trays, offering the usual functionality such as easy opening and reliable closing. Thanks to the functional barrier, the system is ideally suited for cheese packaging.

Using mono material in the bottom web results in the benefit of being able to realize saving effects due to thickness reductions which however have to be tested in combination with each individual product.
