BT Global Services udpeget som "Leaders Quadrant" for tre netværkstjenester i MAGIC Quadrants

Det ledende it-analysefirma Gartner har givet BT udmærkelsen ”Leaders Quadrant” i de tre Magic Quadrants "Global Network Service Provider", "Pan-European Network Service Providers" og "Asia Pacific Network Service Providers". Ifølge Gartner har de virksomheder, der opfylder betingelserne for at blive udpeget som "Leaders" en komplet portefølje af stemme- og dataprodukter kombineret med en service og support over gennemsnittet, samt omfattende global dækning og konkurrencedygtige priser. De har en stærk vision, der bl.a. omfatter at anvende flere informations- og kommunikationsteknologier (ICT) – en strategi, de udtrykker klart og åbent."

BT Global Services Positioned in the Leaders Quadrant for three network service provider Magic Quadrants

A Leader in Global, Pan European, Asia Pacific Network Service Provider Magic Quadrants based on Completeness of Vision and Ability to Execute

LONDON – BT has announced that it is positioned by Gartner, Inc. in the Leaders Quadrant in three Magic Quadrants: Global Network Service Providers[1]; Pan-European Network Service Providers[2]; and Asia Pacific Network Service Providers[3].

According to Gartner, “Leaders have a full portfolio of voice and data products, coupled with above-average service and support, wide global coverage and competitive pricing.  They have a strong vision that includes adopting more information and communication technology (ICT) capabilities, which is a strategy they articulate clearly and openly.”

In early March 2012, BT announced “a new dimension of intelligent networks for business” as a major update to BT Connect. The move established ‘intelligence’ as a new dimension for the definition of network performance alongside speed, availability, scope, security and resilience.  Key components of BT Connect now include BT Connect IQ evaluator tool to assess and improve networks; enhanced customer portal for managing network services from any device; new unified dashboard for Connect applications portfolio; and a new suite of BT Connect applications.
