Jaguar I-PACE vinder World Car of the Year

Jaguar I-PACE er netop blevet kåret som World Car of the Year på New York Auto Show. Jaguar vandt den absolutte toppris foran konkurrenter som Audi e-Tron og Volvo S60/V60. Men ikke nok med, at den blev kåret som hele verdens bedste bil – den løb også med titlen som World Car Design of the Year og World Green Car.

Bag kåringen af World Car of the Year står 88 journalister fra hele verden.

«Da vi begyndte processen med Jaguar I-PACE sagde jeg til mine medarbejdere – lad os bygge den bedste bil i verden. Og det har vi gjort. Efter mere end 40 år i hos Jaguar kan jeg sige – dette er mit Oscar moment», sagde chefdesigner Ian Callum efter overrækkelsen.

De tre priser fra New York følger i kølvandet på en lang række priser til Jaguar I-PACE – blandt andet European Car of the Year, Norwegian Car of the Year og German Car of the Year

We will introduce a portfolio of electrified products across our model range, embracing fully electric, plug-in hybrid and mild hybrid vehicles as well as continuing to offer the latest diesel and petrol engines.
