The development of IT in Europe is constrained by a shortage of skills in several key technologies. Devoteam, as a leader in Europe in ICT advice and engineering, has entered into an alliance with FPT, the largest provider in Vietnam of services in key technologies. (

We see a high demand for services in various key areas, for example related to Microsoft Sharepoint, in mobile applications, or in applying agile development according to the SCRUM methodology. We have created this alliance with FPT to be able to respond faster and better to the demand of our customers. FPT has impressed us with their strong capabilities and with their high level of maturity (CMMI level 5). Not many service companies in Europe can claim a certification at this level ” says Devoteam co-CEO, Godefroy de Bentzmann.
FPT is a company of 17 000 people, of which 7 500 work in IT; the working language is English, so they can be useful for Devoteam’s clients in projects throughout Europe and the Middle East.

The purpose for Devoteam with this relationship is both to gain access to competencies that are scarce, and to be price competitive for such resources. Following the strategic plan to provide cost efficient services to its European customers, Devoteam has decided to reinforce its global delivery capacity through its partnership with FPT. In addition to English and French speaking support services delivered out of our near shore location in Morocco, Devoteam can now deliver development and support services from this cost efficient location in Vietnam.
