The festival is now completely sold out of all
ticket types for NorthSide 2013
About a month ago NorthSide sold out of three-day tickets for this year's festival, and now it is also sold out of one-day tickets. That means Northside 2013 is now completely sold out.
A total of 25,000 people have secured a ticket to the fourth edition of NorthSide, which since 2010 has evolved from a single day with five Danish acts and 5,000 guests to a three-day music event with three stages and international top acts like Arctic Monkeys, Band of Horses, The Knife, Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, and Portishead.
- The demand for tickets has surpassed our wildest dreams, and it is absolutely fantastic to sell out of all tickets types two weeks before the festival. We have throughout the year felt a very strong interest in NorthSide not just in relation to announcements of acts for the line-up, but also for events, workshops, concerts, and via social media. An increasing number of people feel a sense of ownership towards NorthSide and have a desire to affect the festival's development, which we are very proud and honoured by. So we very much look forward to spending three days with them on the festival grounds.
In September of last year, NorthSide sold all the cheap Early Bird tickets in only seven days. Then the combination tickets, which give access to both the SPOT Festival and NorthSide 2013 sold out, and in April both the single day tickets for Saturday and then all partout-tickets sold out.
With about two weeks before the first act goes on stage the last day one day tickets are now gone, and thus NorthSide is the first Danish festival in 2013 to completely sell out.
NorthSide 2013 can be experienced in Aarhus, Denmark on June 14th-16th.
