Happi Papi is proud to announce that all our apps are now COPPA compliant. COPPA, which stands for “Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act”, is an act requiring all children’s app developers selling apps in the USA to comply with a set of rules. These rules were recently revised with new provisions that went into effect on July 1, 2013.
- We have worked hard to achieve compliance says Happi Papi co-founder Jens Ode. To us as developers and parents it is very important to consider children’s privacy. Already from the start we took a stance not to include ads and other unsafe practices in our apps. Being able to step it up a notch today makes us very proud.
Happi Papi is one of only about 30 children’s app developers who have so far achieved a “MOMs with apps” membership signifying COPPA compliance and more. Only MOMs with apps members are allowed to use the coveted “KNOW what’s inside” logo which signifies to parents that the app maker takes privacy seriously.
Happi Papi develops unique and visually stunning learning apps that get featured on the world’s App Stores. We create exciting and distraction free digital environments for kids and provide parents and teachers with clever tools that will help children excel in today’s interconnected world.
Happi Papi was founded in 2011 by Patrick Larson and Jens Ode with the guiding principle of consistently raising the bar in the learning apps market. If you would like to get in touch with us you can do so on facebook.com/happipapiapps or by emailing email@example.com.
