Montana is launching no less than 22 new items with Montana Collection, which includes simple suggestions for complete pieces of furniture. All you have to do is to choose between Montanas 42 lacquer colours.

Montana is known as the flexible furniture system with infinite combinations designed by Peter J. Lassen in 1982. The module system consists of 36 basic sizes in 4 depths and 49 lacquer colours and surfaces, all of which can be combined this way and that to exactly the piece of furniture you want and need.

Now Joakim Lassen, son of Peter J. Lassen, turns the whole thing on its head and explains:

“The Montana Collection includes pieces of furniture with a recognisable function, a descriptive name, predefined depths and their associated components. The 22 finished combinations mean a much easier choice for consumers who only need to decide which of Montana’s 42 colours or colour combinations the furniture should have.”

Montana Collection furniture is made with basic Montana elements, and it is possible to combine Montana Collection furniture with other Montana modules and to expand and complement existing pieces when new needs arise.

Joakim Lassen continues:

“Flexibility is still part of the Montana DNA, but the simplicity of Montana Collection invites spontaneity and faster decision-making, and we believe that we now can reach out to a new target group.”

One example from Montana Collection is:
