Smart multimeter for mobile devices unveiled at Bay Area Makers Faire - now on Kickstarter

Challenging status quo, opening up your tools for tweaking

The idea behind Voltset is to make a customized multimeter solution that will work with your mobile devices, whether it is a smartphone, tablet or computer. In addition to the USB connection, we are adding hardware modules to enable additional functions and features, for example our Bluetooth Expansion Module providing wireless connectivity. Together with the open and free SDK solution, you will have ultimate freedom to build your own systems.

“We are a part of the maker movement, and have attended previous community events, and we are happy to finally unveil the Voltset with our fellow makers in the Bay Area, as we launch our Kickstarter campaign. “Says Co-Founder of Voltset, Michael Bruun-Larsen

Paying it forward for new budding makers

Electrical tutorials is a cornerstone of the Voltset idea, assisting students with the guidance at the palm of their hand, further enhanced by the quick access to formulas and relevant calculations. All from within the application.

The Kickstarter campaign has been well received by the community, and a lot of great ideas are presented by backers for how to co-develop new uses and functions.

Voltset is on its second day of its Kickstarter campaign, and has already managed to secure a third of its goal of $58,888, trending towards $300,000!
