The rock legend will visit Odense this summer

The Christmas break is finally over, and Tinderbox is now ready with the first announcement of the new year, which features nothing short of a bona fide rock legend.

Iggy Pop has released records since 1968 and has created classics like "I Wanna Be Your Dog", "Search & Destroy", "Raw Power", "Nightclubbing", "The Passenger", "Lust for Life", and "Real Wild Child" either as a solo artist or with the band The Stooges. Recently, he joined forces with members of Arctic Monkeys and Queens of the Stone Age on the critically acclaimed and Grammy-nominated album "Post Pop Depression", which showed that the 70-year-old singer is still in absolute top form.

Iggy Pop is a member of the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame as a member of The Stooges, he has recorded groundbreaking records with David Bowie, and he is still one of the most energetic and captivating singers to ever set foot on a stage. This opinion was shared by the Danish reviewers, when Iggy Pop last year visited the Haven Festival. Here, GAFFA, Soundvenue, BT, and Ekstrabladet all gave the show 5 star reviews, which used words like "peerless", "primordial force", and "rock icon". Iggy Pop is undoubtedly a living legend, and this June he will perform at Tinderbox for the first time.
