More Than 250 Teachers Are Taking Advantage of Free Apps Offer
Happi Papi Danmark
2012-04-26 04:23Since the launch of its free App Evaluation Program for Schools a few months ago, Happi Papi has seen more than 250 teachers sign up to test its new apps for free. Every time Happi Papi releases a new app, teachers in the program get a personalized download link sent to them in an email without any obligations on their part.
It sounds great and it is great, says Jens Ode the architect behind the program. But even so, we never expected this many teachers to sign up. We are still hoping that we don’t have to cap the program but new applications are coming in on a daily basis and we might have to draw the line somewhere continues Jens Ode.
Teachers who signed up in early March or before just got there first app, Happi 123. They also got an added bonus in the form of a new partnership between Happi Papi and 5 other development companies. These third party developers have agreed to let the teachers in the program test some of their apps as well.
Having other developers join the program is a great way to extend the value for everybody involved says Patrick Larson who administers the program for Happi Papi. Teachers get more free quality apps, Happi Papi gets help expanding its program and third party developers get a new marketing channel to use in their mix. It’s a win-win-win situation according to Patrick Larson.
As of this writing, it is not too late to join the program. Interested teachers cansign up at Happi Papi’s website (happipapi.com). Teachers who sign up also get a chance to influence Happi Papi’s development plans going forward. Even though, there are no obligation to reply, we send out a short questionnaire about two weeks after distributing an app says Jens Ode. Here we give the teachers a way to both give us feedback on the app at hand but also on what they would like us to develop in the future.
