DSV further expands warehousing footprint in The Netherlands
DSV’s contract logistics division announced the investment in a 41,000 m2 warehouse + 15,000 m2 mezzanine facility in ‘s Heerenberg located on the German border.
The newly built location will facilitate the expansion of current contracts, mainly active in Consumer Goods Omni-channel logistics. “The ‘s Heerenberg location has proven to be strategic for many of our customers that are active in e-Commerce and who require the latest possible cut-off times” says Peter van der Maas, Managing Director for DSV Solutions in The Netherlands.
The new facility is planned to be operational in December 2016 and could potentially add 100 jobs. Currently, DSV employs around 200 staff members in ‘s-Heerenberg.
