Ecolean is experiencing continued growth in the Asian markets. In order to meet customer demand, Ecolean recently added new facilities in China that will increase Ecolean’s production capacity of aseptic packaging material.
Dairy market leader Alquería in Colombia has recently launched one of its milk products in Ecolean’s Air Aseptic packaging solutions. Alquería is also one of the first customers to introduce Ecolean’s innovative reclosing device SnapQuick. The launch marks Ecolean’s entry into South America and the Colombian market.
Ecolean continues to broaden its global presence with a new office in Dallas, Texas, USA. During the last couple of years, Ecolean has expanded into several new markets in Asia, the Middle East and Europe. Gaining a foothold in the growing markets in North and South America is a natural next step.
Ecolean’s new reclosing device SnapQuick has been awarded the Nordic packaging award Scanstar 2014. The award recognises outstanding packaging products from all five Nordic countries.
Market-leading food company Engro Foods in Pakistan recently relaunched its flagship milk brand Olper’s in Ecolean’s lightweight packaging. The unique shape and large printing surface of Ecolean’s 250 ml Aseptic package will make Olper’s brand stand out on store shelves in a category dominated by traditional carton packaging.
Ecolean will begin the year 2014 with the launch of a brand new innovation: a transparent, aseptic package solution. The package is called Ecolean Air Aseptic Clear, and with its transparency and light weight it will create a unique position on the market.

Ecolean will exhibit its lightweight aseptic packaging solution for the first time at Gulfood, the world's biggest annual show for the food, beverage and hospitality industry, in Dubai on February 25-28, 2013.
Lightweighting has proved to be a winning business concept in the liquid food business. Three years ago Ecolean launched their aseptic filling system for family size packages at Anuga Foodtec. New at this year’s exhibition are the aseptic portion packages, for the first time shown in Europe.

The typical Ecolean customer is a dairy or a beverage company although we see our customers in a wider perspective. Retail chains and consumers are just as important.
