A Whitley Bay youngster has won a place in the Elephant Parade nationwide art exposition.

Pupils from Trinity School (Deneview campus) in Newcastle upon Tyne had their designs, for the forthcoming Elephant Parade national tour, judged by one of the UK's most popular contemporary artists, Alexander Millar.
