Hundreds of thousands of people invaded the streets in all major cities in all states in Brazil on Thursday night. What a few days ago started out as isolated riots due to the increase of bus fares, has slowly transformed into a nationwide protest against corruption, irregularities in the construction of football stadiums for Worlds Cup, the impunity of politicians involved in criminal acts etc.

Since the troubles started in turkey two people have died and over 3000 have been injured. The high number of injuries is reported to be the cause of the police use of teargas.
