Monty Python – Dead Parrot Sketch

A giant dead parrot has been installed on London’s South Bank in tribute to Monty Python. It will soon be moving to the O2 arena where the live shows are taking place. #montypythonlive. The original ‘Dead Parrot’ sketch was first shown in 1969.

Lebanese-British singer-songwriter MIKA is back in the spotlight with his new single #BoumBoumBoum. For the non-French speakers, it’s about a couple that like to make love everywhere. To make love is to do ‘boum boum boums'. :-) Very cool 'mini movie' music video.

We go back to 1966 when The Spencer Davis Group released ‘Gimme Some Lovin’. Written by Steve Winwood, Spencer Davis and Muff Winwood, it reached Nº2 on the UK Singles Charts and Nº7 in the US. This week - the founder of the group - Spencer Davis celebrated his 75th birthday!
