From the producers of Ancient Aliens and The Curse of Oak Island comes The UnXplained, a one-hour, non-fiction series that explores the world’s most fascinating, strange and inexplicable mysteries. Hosted and executive produced by Golden Globe and Emmy Award-winning actor William Shatner (Star Trek, Boston Legal)(pictured) each episode will feature compelling contributions from scientists, historians, witnesses and experiences — each seeking to shed light on how the seemingly impossible actually can happen. From mysterious structures (like Florida’s Coral Castle) and so-called “evil” places (like the cursed “White City” of Honduras) to strange creatures and bizarre rituals, The UnXplained will explore subjects that have mystified mankind for centuries.

But now they have their rarest and most priceless treasure yet – a hoard of Knights Templar treasure. With key Templar relics in their possession – a black obsidian chalice, a Templar sword, an alabaster libation vessel, and an iron reliquary box – the duo travel all over Europe and the Middle East, to trace the origins of the relics. Alongside Hamilton and Carl’s journey, the story of the Templars will be told by historians, including presenter and best-selling author of ‘The Templars: The Rise and Spectacular Fall of God’s Holy Warriors’, Dan Jones.

Join HISTORY this May as they commemorate the 75th anniversary of the end of WWII with the best in new and returning HISTORY favourite World War Two programming over the weekend from 20.00. Nazis on Drugs: Hitler and the Blitzkrieg: For all its talk of racial, spiritual, and physical purity, the self-anointed “Master Race” harbored a secret, theirs was an axis of drug addicts. This two-hour special explores the origin, impact, and lasting effects of the state-sponsored drug use that helped build—and eventually burned—the Third Reich. Incredible new sources of information, including a detailed journal maintained by Hitler’s personal physician, reveal the extent of not just his, but the entire Nazi Party’s reliance on drugs to power their war effort.

Have you been building up a collection of Americana over the past 50-plus years? If so, then Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz may pay you a visit one day. The Midwestern pickers travel across America in search of rare artifacts and national treasures that they can buy from the collectors they visit and then sell in their antiques shops or, in some cases, put in their personal collections. They usually have to dig through boxes or piles filled with items that have accumulated over the years, which are often located in such places as barns or spare rooms in the owners' homes. While the guys are willing to buy pretty much anything old, their particular interests include items having to do with the auto industry and classic toys.
