BMW R 1250 GS Adventure

The new BMW F 850 GS Adventure: The boosted motorcycle powertool in the Adventure middle class.

For more than ten years, the GS models in the BMW Motorrad F series have embodied the premium range in the middle class travel and adventure enduro segment. High-level touring capability, absolute long-distance suitability, sporty dynamic riding and superior offroad qualities are its outstanding strengths.

Following the newly developed BMW F 750 GS and F 850 GS presented in autumn 2017, the new F 850 GS Adventure now expands the premium BMW Motorrad range in this segment. Based on the dynamic and offroad oriented character of the F 850 GS, the new Adventure ideally unites agility and touring capability as well as increased offroad competence and outstanding long-distance qualities. New, powerful and refined 2-cylinder in-line engine with 90 degree crankpin offset and 270/450 degree ignition spacing. The new F 850 GS Adventure will be launched in February.

The new BMW R 1250 R, R 1250 RS and R 1250 GS Adventure – Roadster, Sports Touring and Adventure in optimised form and in a new drive dimension.

For decades, the boxer engine in the BMW Motorrad R, RS and GS Adventure models has stood for distinctive, powerful and reliable propulsion when it comes to dynamic riding along country roads, sporty touring or enjoying long-distance trips and motorcycling adventures to the full. For more than 25 years, BMW Motorrad has used 4-valve technology in this connection, combined with electronic fuel injection and closed-loop catalytic converter technology in order to achieve the best possible power and torque delivery, efficiency and environmental compatibility.

Further advanced boxer engine with BMW ShiftCam Technology for an additional increase in power across the entire engine speed range, reduced emission and fuel consumption levels, optimised running smoothness and refinement.

The new BMW S 1000 RR – even lighter, faster and easier to control.

The new BMW S 1000 RR sees its world premiere at the EICMA 2018. With a completely newly developed engine and suspension, engine output increased by 6 kW (8 hp) to 152 kW (207 hp) (in the USA: 151 kW (205 hp) and a weight reduction of 208 kg to 197 kg (193.5 kg with M Package), the supersports bike originally launched in 2009 now goes into its third completely new generation. In addition to enhanced performance, other focus points were to make the new RR at least one second faster than its predecessor, create a more user-friendly design and ensure it offered maximum controllability and ridability. Whether in everyday use, on winding country roads or for high-performance race track riding – the new RR leaves nothing to be desired. In particular because BMW Motorrad has moved the assistance systems such as traction and wheelie control, ABS and Hill Start Control to a whole new level; the same applies to the LED lighting system and large TFT screen.

The new BMW C 400 GT. The Gran Turismo among the mid-size scooters for excellent comfort and dynamic performance as well as lots of riding fun.

BMW Motorrad established its new product category in the area of urban mobility in 2011 with the debut of the C 600 Sport and the C 650 GT as premium vehicles for the maxi scooter segment. These were then followed by the C 400 X, which was first presented in autumn 2017 – a dynamically oriented premium vehicle for the mid-size scooter segment. Now BMW Motorrad introduces the BMW C 400 GT, the Gran Turismo variant of the mid-size scooter, geared towards further increased comfort and enhanced touring capability. Whether riding into the city centre, travelling to the office or enjoying a tour after work or at the weekend – the new C 400 GT is the perfect partner on which to enjoy free-time riding to the full: not just as alone but with a passenger, too.
