A new Diploma programme with a strong Public Health approach. The Diploma programme in Public Health at the Nordic School of Public Health NHV offers three eligible themes from 2013: General Public Health, Infection Prevention and Control, and Universal Design.

The programme addresses mainly professionals in the field of health care and social services, or other areas that contribute to increased accessibility for all. The programme can be seen as a milestone towards a Master of Public Health degree.

Nordic School of Public Health NHV offers courses at advanced and research levels. Nordic students have priority for admission but applicants from outside the Nordic countries are also admitted. Courses are given in a Scandinavian language or in English. A major part of the courses are included in NHV’s
educational programmes, but can also be taken separately.

Pohjoismainen kansanterveystieteen korkeakoulu NHV – kansanterveyden edelläkävijä NHV on Pohjoismaisen ministerineuvoston vanhimpia ja suurimpia laitoksia. The Nordic School of Public Health is one of the oldest and largest institutions under the Nordic Council of Ministers. With the student in focus and a high level of scientific quality and public relevance, NHV conducts research and delivers teaching and commissioned courses to ensure public health now and in the future.
