Amsterdam, October 4, 2017 - Management and technology consultancy BearingPoint is cited as an “Industry Peer” in the “Competitive Landscape: IT Services Providers to the Global Insurance Industry” report by Gartner, a leading information technology research and advisory company. According to the report, an “Industry Peer” as part of the vertical strategy framework is a fully aligned VI business unit targeting industry roles, a member of the vertical ecosystem and selling business outcomes based on recognized industry metrics.

BearingPoint provides specific IP for Solvency II in Europe with its Abacus solution and collaborates with various technology partners to create novel applications. The firm invests, for instance, in robotics to enhance operational efficiencies for its insurance sector clients.
