Press trip EILAT - the Red Sea pearl - 21st – 27th September, 2016

Israel Government Tourist Office for the Nordic countries would like to invite journalist, media and bloggers/Instagramers to participate in a press trip to Israel’s southernmost spot, Eilat, just on the shore of azure Red Sea. We want to inspire for Eilat as a charter destination. Aurinkomatkat will start their weekly charters from Helsinki to Eilat, on Wednesday 2^nd of November until 22^nd of March.

The press trip includes a custom-made itinerary and is an excellent chance for you to discover the most important tourist, cultural and culinary attractions in Eilat.

IGTO will arrange flights, transfers airport-hotel-airport, hotel accommodation with half board, transport with driver, tour guide and sightseeing.

Preliminary itinerary:

September 21: Direct flight with Finnair from Helsinki to Tel Aviv

September 22: Arrival 00.30 in Tel Aviv (AY797); overnight in boutique hotel Tel Aviv

September 23: Travel by car to Eilat via the desert place Mitzpe Ramon, winery and jeep tour at Mitzpe Ramon Crater. Overnight in luxery Beersheet.

September 24: Eilat – check in at your high-end hotel. Relaxed afternoon at the beach along the Scuba places

September 25: Eilat – Diving in the morning, and in afternoon having a Yacht tour with Israeli wine and snacks at the Red Sea. If you wish bring your bathing suits and take a jump from the yacht to the nice 23 c warm sea.

September 26: Late morning, or if you wish have a private yoga session. At lunch take a flight to Tel Aviv. Hang out in Tel Avivs cool areas. In the evening dinner and then airport.

September 27: 01.20 Return to Helsinki (AY798)

All freelance journalists will need to have a confirmation from a media for publishing their articles before trip.

Please notice that we only take few journalists on the trip, so let me know asap if interested joining the trip to Eilat!
