Silicon Viking’s New Executive Director Appointed

Following a search among the top Nordic competencies in Silicon Valley, Silicon Vikings Board of Directors selected Swedish Adiba Cremonini as the organization's new Executive Director. Silicon Viking’s celebration of 15 years in business includes the objective to take on an even stronger role as the most prominent networking and collaborative member organization connecting the Nordic countries to Silicon Valley. Hiring a new Executive Director is one step in establishing that role. Strengthening the brand by rebuilding the profile and the value for the organization’s 3 000+ members is another.

Cremonini was selected for her strong passion in the innovation, entrepreneurship and business ecosystem of the Nordic’s and Silicon Valley. The search committee and the board agree that she is the best choice to lead Silicon Vikings into its next phase of expansion and growth and we are very excited about the future" says Richard Allan Horning, President and Chairman of Silicon Vikings. 

Adiba is committed to foster Silicon Vikings' positive role in empowering education, innovation and tech related issues through collaborations and building relations between the Nordic Region and Silicon Valley. Her extensive background, +13 years, in the Swedish Innovation environment, in combination with her clear vision of the organization's potential for moving forward with new programs, Chapters and initiatives, indicates a new lively era for the organization. Going forward, Silicon Vikings will take a role in promoting Nordic startups and entrepreneurs entering the US.

From March 19^th-April 9^th Adiba will go on a Nordic Tour, visiting Innovation environments like incubators and Science Parks, supporting agencies and meet with the Nordics hot startups of today in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland and Estonia.
