We are pleased to announce a new colleague has joined Global Focus. Tove Thambert joined us in April 2013 as a Design Director, and is responsible for visualizing and turning strategic insights into compelling design solutions for our clients.

Educated at Konstfack in Stockholm, via fashion studies at Parsons in New York, Tove holds a Master’s Degree in Industrial Design. Her work covers everything from industrial production to her own jewellery collection for Indiska. Her design has been shown at numerous exhibitions around Europe, and recently in New York at the exhibition Home in the woods nyc. FORMEX NOVA nominated Tove to Nordic Designer of the year in 2012.

Welcome to the team Tove!

- Thank you! I’m very happy to be a part of the team.

How will you contribute to Global Focus?

- My role in the team is to incorporate design thinking and creative methods in our process, in order to make our solutions as innovative and hands-on as possible. I will also contribute with graphic design, illustrations and concrete design solutions.

You come from a background where main focus has been placed on the final product, how is it to now work with strategy and services?

- Some of the things I like with Global Focus approach is the open minded process, the interdisciplinary team and the search for being as pedagogic as possible in all deliveries. As a designer, you always keep the end-user in focus. And no matter if the final delivery is a service, a strategy or a physical product you will gain from that approach.

Arne Forstenberg, Partner and Managing Director, is very pleased with the new addition to the team.

- Global Focus is expanding in many ways and we are proud that one of Sweden´s most talented young designers Tove Thambert has joined us. She has an impressive background as an Industrial Designer working within various sectors, and it’s great to incorporate her design thinking within the work we do for our clients.
