Global Education Export Seminar 2016 in Finland, with Haaga-Helia in Estonia as a main case of study

Haaga-Helia UAS held the second Co-Creation Workshop during 1-3.11.2016 in Helsinki, for the Haaga-Helia global cooperation partner network. Haaga-Helia Estonia participated at the Global Education Export Seminar held on 2.11 at the Pasila Campus.

Ain Hinsberg moderated the seminar and Sven Lööndre participated in the audience. The Haaga-Helia activities in Estonia were also showcased within the content of the event.

The event was opened by the Dr. Teemu Kokko, President, Haaga-Helia (Strategy as an Enabler of International Growth) and Mr. Jouni Kangasniemi, Head of Development, Ministry of Education and Culture (Finnish Roadmap to Success).

The first half of the day was wound up with the appropriate pomp and circumstance by Mr. André Noël Chaker (How to make the impossible possible).

The second part of the day contained the presentations by Mr. Santiago Ruiz de Velasco Aranguren, Vice President Western Europe, Pearson (Building a World Class Education Brand – Case Pearson Education) and Mr. Jouni Ahonen, Vice President, Haaga-Helia (Business Strategy for Globalization - Education Export Project Findings).

The event was rounded up by Dr. Lauri Tuomi and Mr. Janne Jauhiainen, Fountain Park (Future of Education Business, Stakeholders Views Results of Web brainstorming).

All in all there were up to 160 participants present during the event.
