Hitachi Data Systems Names Nirvana Farhadi as Global Head of Financial Services RegTech, Risk & Regulatory Compliance Affairs

Today, Hitachi Data Systems is pleased to announce the appointment of Nirvana Farhadi, keynote speaker, thought leader, global regulatory, operations and compliance expert, as the company’s Global Head of Financial Services RegTech, Risk & Regulatory Compliance Affairs.

Within this newly created role at Hitachi, Nirvana will be responsible for pioneering, defining, developing and leading the company's Financial Services RegTech business, including advising the company on – and leading oversight and management of – its financial services programme. Her appointment demonstrates Hitachi’s commitment to support its customers as they navigate an increasingly complex global regulatory landscape, and keep them compliant with Financial Services sector requirements.

As the former Head of Regulatory Reporting at KPMG, Nirvana has led the business, practice, and development for regulatory reporting at KPMG UK, and is a sought-after keynote speaker. She has played a key role in advancing industry discussions of RegTech and regulatory reporting at many global industry events and workshops – she is set to attend the RegTech Masterclass & Meet-Up this month, and will be speaking at a collection of the world’s best RegTech conferences, including the RegTech Capital Markets Conference.
