H as in HH Ferries and Hogia Ferry Systems

Press Release   •   Jun 01, 2016 08:02 GMT

Hogia Ferry Systems has been selected as the long-term partner and supplier of a standard software system for HH Ferries. Their ferry operation runs between Helsingborg in Sweden and Helsingör in Denmark. Hogia Ferry Systems’ BOOKIT product is already live and handling ticketing, reservations and invoicing for both commercial and tourist bookings. With the help of a new web platform supplied by Hogia, HH Ferries is looking to increase online sales. Both commercial and private customers can benefit from this web platform, allowing them to quickly and conveniently buy ferry crossings and pre-order on-board products.

“With high requirements for reliability and speed, we needed a standard system that was thoroughly tried and tested, and we were recommended to contact Hogia. The broad scope for integration, and BOOKIT’s ability to work with these in an efficient way, were other key factors in our choice. We are more than satisfied with the references we received and with all the possibilities we get from using BOOKIT,” says Jens-Ole Hansen, Chief Operating Officer of HH Ferries.

“Having the opportunity to be part of this historic and well-known route is truly an honour. This is Hogia’s home ground and we are very proud to be working with HH Ferries. We will wholeheartedly support HH Ferries in their ambition to further improve the customer experience,” says Niclas Blomström, Managing Director of Hogia Ferry Systems.

The project was carried out within a tight time schedule in autumn and winter 2015, including several milestones that were met thanks to the hard work and dedication of everyone involved. BOOKIT is now successfully up and running in the ports and call centres in both Sweden and Denmark.

Had no idea that as many as 50 000 people travel with the ferries every day. I've travelled once a week with HH-ferries for many years now and still enjoy it. Interesting to read news about your development!
