To become a part of this new digital transmedia revolution, Film and TV Producers need to learn new skills in development, marketing and distribution. The multitude of platforms and formats available can be exhilarating and overwhelming. Throughout the initial phase of a project’s development, it’s prohibitively expensive to create and launch every transmedial element simultaneously. But the first challenge is how to fund transmedia. Typically, these projects extend across several platforms, and most financiers will only consider funding a project on a platform-by-platform basis. Even though the transmedial approach is increasingly platform agnostic, the commissioning process continues to be device orientated. Therefore cross-media producers must learn how best to utilise a business model specific to his approach.

Inspired by Orson Welles radio play “War of the Worlds”, Nuno has being exploring new forms of interactive and immersive storytelling for the past decade. Using his unique approach to transmedia, Nuno has produced more than 200 hours of multiplatform content; from feature films and TV shows to mobile apps and books. His transmedia franchises have been adapted all across the globe, from the UK to China, conquering tens of millions of loyal fans and featuring in the world’s greatest film and television festivals along the way.
