The Government of Nepal has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of Decentralized Rural Infrastructure & Livelihood Project-Additional Financing (DRILP-AF), and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to payments under the contract Supply and Delivery of machine woven gabion boxes (Made by heavy coated GI wire hexagonal mesh size 100mm X 120mm/3.0/3.9/2.4/Zn) and Geotextile and Tools.

The Office of District Development Committee, Humla now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Supply & Delivery of Heavy Zinc coated Steel wires as detailed above. The procurement will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding and in accordance with ADB's Single-Stage: One Envelope procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries. Bids completed in all respect must be delivered on or before 12:00 hours of February 7, 2016. Bids must be valid up to date 7th May, 2016. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security amount as specified in clause 12 either as cash deposit in the account of District Development Committee, Humla's account no. 4190303003301 GA 3 (Dharauti Account) in Rastriya Banijaya Bank, Simkot, Humla or as a bank guarantee in standard format as specified in Bidding Document from "A" class commercial bank specifying the Contract I.D. and Title of supply and must be valid upto date 6th June 2016.
For the purpose of Bidders who choose to submit their bid electronically through PPMOs Website: http//www.bolpatra.gov.np, the bidders may either purchase the hard copy of Bidding documents or may choose to down load the necessary part of bidding documents, prepare their bids and submit their electronic bids as specified in the Bidding Document. In case of Bidders who choose to download and submit bid electronically, the bidder shall be required to deposit the cost of bidding document as specified above in DDC's account mentioned above in clause 5.
Bids will be opened in the presence of the Bidders or their representatives who choose to attend at the Office of District Development Committee, Humla but bids submitted electronically shall be opened at PCU, DRILP-AF, Jawalakhel, Lalitpur. The Office of District Development Committee, District Technical Office, District Project Office of Decentralised Rural Infrastructure and Livelihood Project-Additional Financing, Humla will not be responsible for any costs or expenses incurred by the Bidders in connection with the preparation or delivery of the Bids.
The Office of District Development Committee, Humla reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to annul the bidding process at any time prior to contract award without assigning any reason, whatsoever.
