Japan turn to Hyderabad to attract Indian Tech talent

First Ever ‘Japan Job Fair’ hosted by en world India

Hyderabad: 7th February 2019: For the first time ever in India, leading IT companies of Japan conducted a Job Fair and placement drive in Hyderabad.The job fair event was organised by enworld, a global recruitment firm with it footprints in India across multiple locations.

Few of the Japanese companies which is currently struggling with acute technical skill shortage along with aging population is now looking towards India as a destination to alleviate the looming crisis.

Over all there are 8 Lakhs jobs in Japan for engineering graduates to be filled in a years’ time and the Skill gap is important to be filled to propel the growth in the Japanese IT Industry. This has turned out to be a wonderful opportunity for the Indian Engineering graduates who aspire to start a career in Japan.

For the Job fair more than 200 Job applicants were handpicked from the top engineering colleges, based on their education and assessment test score, they were invited for face to face interview round. Japan – Job fair was organised on 6th of February 2019, Wednesday in T-Hub of IIIT Campus Hyderabad, selected job applicants will also be screened for second round today.

The Organisations which participated in the Job Fair, included AI Tokyo Lab & Co, Denso, En-Japan Inc. with positions available in artificial intelligence engineering, software development and UI/UX development. The Jobs promises the aspiring fresher with very lucrative packages from 15 Lacs of up to 20 lakhs per annum in India rupees.

Mr. Koji Murata, CEO of en world India commenced the event and inspired everyone with his speech on career opportunities and other benefits on working in Japan. He said “The combination of super aging population in Japan and fast developing India can complement each other. We are doing such placement drive in Vietnam since 2017 and we wanted to replicate same idea in India. While Indian students know about Japan, but may not be complete aware of technology advancements or companies in Japan. We want to share that there are many interesting companies in Japan.”

Similar vision was shared by the participating client who were impressed with the Indian talent and wished to hire maximum talent in coming few years.

The Job applicants who were invited on the job fair said the companies first briefed about their companies and work culture and then did a personal interaction round. This was over all a successful evet conducted by enworld for the aspiring graduates as well as the Japanese organisations which are in hunger for absolute talent.
