Product data is often located in multiple systems, files, media assets, or on disparate hard drives or servers. To address this ’content spaghetti,’ inRiver centralizes this information in a product information management (PIM) solution, thereby reducing the number of systems that contain product data. These various systems can then access product information from one central location where the data is consistent, up to date, and reliable.
Fortuitas has existing clients who need to move their product information into a centralized repository that is accessible by e-commerce, point of sale, mobile, and catalogue systems, such as inRiver Product Marketing Cloud. In addition, this joint partnership will enable an extension of services to other e-commerce clients and other clients that have large product catalogs.
