A new study proves that osteoarthritis can be treated successfully with a digital treatment using artificial intelligence. With the treatment by Joint Academy, the participants in the study decreased their pain with 24% and increased their functionality with 21% after six weeks. 22% also stated that they were able to cut back on the medication they had previously taken for their osteoarthritis.

For almost 21 million americans, osteoarthritis is a painful reality. Every year, almost 300 000 hip and 600 000 knee replacements are performed in the United States - many of which are due to osteoarthritis. But many of these could be avoided.
