Lucy Zilio Travels to Paradise Village to Give Canadian TV Viewers a Tour

Press Release   •   Nov 13, 2010 18:13 CST

Paradise Village and Nuevo Vallarta were recently visited by Canadian television personality Lucy Zilio with the iTravel2000 crew promoting the Nuevo Vallarta resort. The visit was used to film the resort for television commercials shown in Canada.

The Paradise Village visit by Lucy Zilio was a chance for the resort's many attrractions to be featured and showcased to Canadian television viewers, many unfamiliar with the popular resort's natural beauty. Lucy was given free reigh to film what she chose, and it seemed only fitting that she visit our latest member of the Paradise Village family: a tiger cub.

The Paradise Village Bengal Tiger Breeding Program is a highly successful example of how private zoos can contribute to the animal kingdom by assuming resonsibility for the well-being of our animal friends. The tiger program started from a donation of a male tiger found during a police raid at a drug cartel compound near Guadalajara. The resort was contacted by animal concervationists, and the appropriate paperwork was secured while the resort looked for a zoologist to add to their full-time staff.

Lucy visited the tigers at Paradise Village and was given the opportunity to frolic with a baby tiger cub, one of the most recent additions to the family. You can watch her play with the tiger cub on the El Tigre facebook page. After visiting with the tiger cub Lucy wanted to see the El Tigre Golf Club, one of the ten best golf clubs in Mexico.

It was on the links of El Tigre that Lucy discussed the safety factor while visiting Mexico. "Is Mexico safe to visit," asked Lucy Zilio.

Mexico is still a safe country to visit as each of the tourist destinations are increasing police presence on a local, state, and federal level as a proactive method to safeguard tourism levels. The increased police presence can be seen each day as they actively patrol the streets ensuring a peaceful and serene visit for those on vacation.

Lucy Zilio's visit to Nuevo Vallarta's Paradise Village was a fun-filled few days as she previewed options for your next vacation. As the temperature begins to drop a bit more each day signalling the start of winter, its time to start thinking of where your family should go this winter.
