Malaysia Airlines' Offers Free Upgrades for Lucky Online Customers on Domestic Flights

1 August 2012, Subang: Effective today, Malaysia Airlines customers who book and pay online via, MHmobile application and MHbuddy in Malaysia Airlines Facebook stand a chance to win free upgrades to Business Class for their domestic sector travels on the national carrier.

All they need to do is to purchase Malaysia Airlines’ promotional domestic travel economy class fares that are available for a limited period only, from today till midnight of 5 August 2012 for travel from 1-30 September 2012.

Every 55th online booking at these promotional economy class fares is eligible for this Business Class upgrading at no extra cost. The upgrade will be offered for a maximum of two sectors and is limited to 2 passengers booked and paid for in one booking record, irrespective of actual group size.

The all inclusive value deals start from as low as RM 119 and RM238 for one-way and return flights respectively within Peninsular Malaysia and likewise for travel within Sabah and Sarawak. One way all inclusive fares for travel between East and West Malaysia start at RM174 whilst the return fares start at RM348.

Malaysia Airlines Regional Senior Vice President for Malaysia and ASEAN, Encik Muzammil Mohamad said, "Our promotional domestic airfares are already attractive and streamlined for customers who wish to experience full service travel comfort.  In addition, we have introduced yet another creative attraction for our lucky online customers to enjoy premium service Business Class hospitality on our domestic flights. This is to also enable them to cherish in style, their air travel with us during the Malaysia Day joy in September this year.”

For those who prefer Business Class domestic travel on confirmed basis, Malaysia Airlines has similar promotional deals at RM369 one-way for flights within Malaysia, and also within Sabah and Sarawak as well as from RM 749 to RM1109 for one way journeys between East and West Malaysia.

Customers who do not have access to online booking options, can still book and pay for the above Economy and Business class promotional fares by transacting through Malaysia Airlines’ 24 hours toll-free number 1 300 88 3000, Malaysia Airlines ticket offices and appointed  travel agents. However, they will not be eligible for a chance to win the upgrade.
