ETHNIC and cultural diversity are celebrated and observed at QNet on a daily basis, as the 340-strong staff at its Malaysian headquarters alone comprise about 30 different nationalities. "As a multinational e-commerce business that is present in over 100 countries, we are required to have a diverse mix of professionals, from our management team to staff," said QNet Ltd chief executive officer Trevor Kuna at the company's office in Petaling Jaya. He said close to 20 different languages were spoken by the customer service staff stationed on one floor. Kuna will be leading a team of 50 staff for this Sunday's #AnakAnakMalaysia Walk, which will be flagged off at Dataran Kemerdekaan, Shah Alam. "QNet was founded based on the culture of service above self for our employees and the customers we serve. "We empower our staff and representatives with entrepreneurship and humility. "It is about putting ourselves in other people's shoes and checking egos at the door," he said.
