Nautisk adds Aberdeen to Global Network

Global chart distributor Nautisk has opened a new office in Aberdeen. Peter J Pran, Nautisk Head of Global Sales says that the new HQ will build on the strength of Nautisk’s offering to the Oil and Gas sector in Norway, as well as offering a vital link to customers operating in the UK and Northern Europe.

He says:

“Aberdeen is at the centre of the Oil and Gas sector, as well as shipping and offshore. We have recognised that local market potential here is huge and because of our agility, we are able to adapt to individual customer needs and support them from this new office.”

In order to further strengthen Nautisk’s offer in Aberdeen, Lloyd Ferguson has been appointed Key Account Manager for the UK. Ferguson, who joins the company from Thomas Gunn Navigation where he worked as Global Commercial Manager will co-ordinate customer accounts and support operational business needs.

Ferguson says:

“As you would expect, growing sales within the region is high on our priority list, but before that, we need to determine what the needs are of the local market, expand agreements with current customers and demonstrate our intent to continue to grow the business globally.”

“The fact that we have opened this new office is a clear demonstration of our commitment to the area, and we need to ensure that we remain focussed and realistic.”
