Clothing business faces challenges in Zhuhai

She was optimistic about the endeavor, had a solid business plan and worked hard to see that her business succeeded. Today she is expressing frustration, saying that today’s market is the most challenging she has seen in the past three years.

“The clothing business is so hard at this moment,” she said. “Orders are declining while costs are increasing.”

Guangzhou Shisanhang, built during the Qing Dynasty, is a business area specialized in and optimized for the clothing business. In the past, visitors described Shisanhang as “fighting square.” People with different dialects came to the square to shop and leave with thousands of packages of clothes.
