To explain, Eurovision sees a chosen act from 37 countries across the European continent compete for votes from the people and expert panels from these countries. The performances are seen to reflect some part of a national culture or feeling, or a projection of how they see the rest of Europe. Or something. And we Brits really stuggle with the whole concept. And we want to win. But, being British, we don't really. If you see what I mean.
